Posted On June 1, 2019 by Greg Jacobsen
Are you looking for a wakesport competition to attend this month? The team here at Aerial Wakeboarding have listed some of the top wakeboarding, wake surfing and wake skating events for the month of June 2019. This is our third installment this season and we’re encouraging all our customers, friends and family to come out and help support the health of the sports we love.
As stated in our previous articles, there are no words that can describe how fun it is to be out watching these riders do their thing in person. There are so many skill levels and ages of both men and women. We also encourage any of you with good riding skills and a flair for style to enter. Even if you are an amateur and can’t pull any aerial tricks yet, there’s usually a division setup just for you.
Please read below to see what’s coming up in your area:
Liquid Force US Park Pro Wake Island Stop (event info)
Disciplines: Wakeboard + Park
June 7 – 8, 2019 at 5pm Pleasant Grove, CA
This is a wake park event at Wake Island Water Park in Pleasant Grove, CA. We’re boat riders by nature but wake parks are so fun to check out. Yes, you miss out on the roar of the boat but, instead, you get insane courses with rails, jumps and obstacles. After the event, there is so much more to do at Wake Island including the Aqua Park with a massive floating playground, zip line, free fall, a relaxing sandy swimming beach, and the Chill Dock with paddle boards and pedal boats. This is a very family-friendly event.

Thigh High Surf Series Stop #1 (event info)
Disciplines: Wakesurf
May 12, 2019 at 8:00 am – 5:00 pm UTC-4 Orlando, Florida
You’ve been warned- this is the third and last stop of the Thigh High Surf Series this year. It’s a grassroots wakesurf contest created and promoted by Central Florida locals solely for the purpose of giving other local riders a venue to show off their skills and for local enthusiasts to get out and have fun. This event is exactly the spirit of why we post this schedule- to raise the flames and promote all wake and watersports. What’s great is that they are really encouraging beginners and up-and-comers to participate. There are seven divisions covering the full range of skill levels. This is a very family-friendly event.
You can get a free spectator ticket here!
